The beginning of Puratech was the same, with a visionary working from his flat, unaware that he would one day establish a technology company providing software solutions.
Puratech got its name by combining the last four words of an Indian deity's name ASHAPURA, with the term TECH, in the belief that goddess Ashapura will always bless, strengthen, and grow Puratech.
This marked the beginning of a journey followed by a vision to build an IT company without any fear.
How was ETOS formed?
After working hard every day - all round the clock, Puratech developed a solid product for the BFSI segment that escalated the company's growth and opened a lot of new doors. Slowly and steadily the company built its base and established its name.
All of the hard work paid off in 2011 when the team was given the opportunity to cater to the TRAVEL industry and build an entirely new product. The product was distributed to various companies in the Maldives and its success led to the start of another vertical in Puratech dedicated to travel technology, and it was named ETOS.
ETOS started with a new product line specific to the travel niche with a vision for excellence in providing customer support and commitment without excuses and compromise.
Today, after 12 years of dedicated hard work the company has empowered and acquired many talented individuals that work towards a common goal to make ETOS a global brand.

Customers see a logo and a brand name, but no one knows the insights, the backstories, or how it came into existence. Similar is our story while creating ETOS.
A lot of thought has gone into the idea, design and the colours used to form ETOS. All the elements used are carefully considered and placed with an idea to represent what we stand for as a company.
Every individual goes through phases of change that lead to growth in their life. ETOS logo has done the same and has evolved as its best version.
The all-new logo of ETOS represents a colourful globe communicating our vision to establish a global presence in the future.
We have used a few elements of our previous logo in crafting our new one to signify growth and change, it shows that we are taking forward all the important lessons that we learned along the decade that helped us grow.
We changed and moved forward with time incorporating new technologies.
The colourful ribbon present in the logo is our way of saying that our products will tie and pair up perfectly with your system. A ribbon is flexible and easy to use, as our product offerings.
At the start of new beginnings (during inaugurations) a ribbon is cut to symbolize the start of something new, we at ETOS trust the process of new beginnings and believe that our products are a start of a new journey for every company.
